Michael Hamilton is a practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga, which he has learnt from his primary teacher, Sri K Pattabhi Jois of Mysore India. He was drawn to Ashtanga's grace and emphasis on the breath in movement. Through his own experience he has found that yoga has a miraculous power to transform one both physically and mentally. Drawn from an early age to spiritual practice he has studied various traditions, including Zen and Theravada Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta.
Michael teaches internationally and is officially authorized by Sri K Pattabhi Jois to teach Ashtanga.
